Branco gives you and your direct reports three connected tools for ongoing development — action plans for focus, career pages for the big picture, and 1:1 spaces for regular conversations.


Action Plans

Action plans focus on long-term professional growth. Each person creates their own plan to define what they're working on developing.

  • Created by individuals to define 1–2 development goals at a time
  • Each goal breaks down into sub-steps with due dates
  • AI suggests potential actions over time based on feedback patterns
  • Action plan items are used as context for feedback prompts, keeping the loop tight between growth goals and the feedback being collected
How to use action plans as a manager

Review your direct reports' action plans before 1:1s. Look for overdue sub-steps, stale items, or AI suggestions sitting unaddressed. These are natural coaching conversation starters.


My Career

The My Career page shows each person where they stand relative to their role expectations.

  • Shows role-specific skills and company-wide competencies with progress bars
  • Connects feedback data to current level expectations — so people can see where they're meeting, exceeding, or falling short
  • Displays a clear career path across roles and levels, highlighting their current position

As a manager, you can view your direct reports' career pages using the "Yourself" switcher to understand their strengths and gaps.


1:1s

The 1:1 space is a shared area for you and each direct report to prepare for, run, and follow up on your check-ins.

  • Both managers and employees can add talking points to a shared agenda
  • Private notes let each person capture thoughts only they can see
  • A monthly AI-generated summary reviews Overall Progress, Achievements, and Growth Areas
The 1:1 space is persistent

Unlike a meeting agenda that disappears after the meeting, the 1:1 space keeps a running history. You can toggle "Show completed" to see everything you've covered, and monthly summaries build up over time to show trends.
