What is Branco?

Branco is a people development and performance platform that connects goals, feedback, and growth. As an admin, you're responsible for building the framework that makes it all work.

Branco connects four things into a single, continuous system:

  • Team objectives — OKRs that cascade from company-level down to individual key results.
  • Ongoing feedback — Collected automatically through a Slack bot, not through annual review cycles.
  • Career development — Skills, competencies, and career paths tied to real feedback data.
  • Reporting & insights — Engagement, performance, retention, and 9-box talent views generated automatically.

Your role as an admin​

You're the person who makes Branco work for everyone else. Specifically, you:

  • Configure the company framework — Mission, values, competencies, skills, roles, and career paths.
  • Set up the org structure — Teams, team leaders, and user accounts.
  • Connect integrations — Slack bot for feedback collection, BambooHR for employee data sync.
  • Manage system settings — Feature flags, review cycles, and sync behavior.
The framework is the foundation

Everything in Branco — from the feedback questions the bot asks, to the career page each employee sees, to the reports managers pull — is shaped by what you configure. A well-defined framework means better AI suggestions, more relevant feedback, and more accurate reports.
