Feedback Hub
Your central hub for all feedback — see your feedback network, review what you've received and given, and track self-reflections.
What is it?
The Feedback Hub is where all feedback activity comes together. It shows your full feedback history organized by type (received, given, and self-reflections), and includes a visual feedback network that maps the relationships between you and the people you exchange feedback with. Feedback is primarily collected through the Branco Slack bot, and this is where it all surfaces.
Almost everything in Branco — career progress, action plan suggestions, dashboard trends, 1:1 summaries — is powered by feedback. The more feedback flowing through the system, the more useful every other feature becomes.
How it works
- 👤 Employee
- 👤 Manager
- 🛠️ Administrator
As an employee, the Feedback Hub is your personal feedback history:
Feedback Network
A collapsible panel at the top shows a visual map of your feedback relationships — who you've given feedback to and who's given feedback to you. This helps you spot gaps, like teammates you haven't exchanged feedback with recently.
Feedback history
Below the network, three tabs organize your full feedback history:
- Received — All feedback others have given you.
- Provided — All feedback you've given to others.
- Self — Self-reflections you've completed.
Use the "High quality only" toggle to filter for the most substantive feedback entries.
Feedback is collected through the Branco Slack bot, which initiates automated feedback conversations with your team. The results appear here automatically. See Integrations for details on how the Slack bot works.
As a manager, the Feedback Hub shows your own feedback history by default. To view a direct report's feedback:
- Use the "Yourself" dropdown in the top bar to switch to their perspective.
- Navigate to Feedback Hub in the sidebar.
What to look for
When reviewing a direct report's feedback:
- Received tab — What themes are coming up in feedback from peers? Are there consistent strengths or growth areas?
- Provided tab — Is this person giving feedback to others? Frequency matters for team culture.
- Self tab — Are they doing self-reflections? This signals engagement and self-awareness.
- Feedback Network — Is their network broad or narrow? If they're only exchanging feedback with one or two people, encourage them to diversify.
Don't just review feedback in isolation. Cross-reference what you see here with their My Career skill scores, Action Plan items, and 1 on 1 summaries to build a complete picture.
As an admin, your main role with feedback is making sure the system is set up to collect it:
Slack bot (primary feedback channel)
The Branco Slack bot is the main mechanism for collecting 360 feedback. It runs automated conversations with team members in Slack. Make sure it's connected and active in Integrations.
Feedback toggle
You can enable or disable feedback collection globally using the FEEDBACK_ACTIVE toggle in Settings. This is on by default.
Framework quality
The quality of AI-generated insights across Branco depends on how well your skills, competencies, and values are defined. If feedback results seem generic or unhelpful, revisit your framework in Company Settings.
Feedback is visible to the person who received it and to their manager (via the view-as switcher). Admins can view any user's feedback by switching perspectives. There are no separate admin reports for raw feedback — use the Reports section for aggregated analytics.
