Dashboard
Your personal home base in Branco — a quick snapshot of your strengths, growth areas, feedback trends, and feedback activity.
What is it?
The Dashboard is the first thing you see after logging in. It surfaces the most important signals about your performance and engagement in one place, so you always know where you stand and what to focus on next.
If your company is still setting up Branco, you'll see a Company Setup banner at the top of the dashboard. This guides admins through the initial configuration steps — once complete, the banner disappears and your dashboard populates with real data.
What you'll see
- 👤 Employee
- 👤 Manager
- 🛠️ Administrator
As an employee, the dashboard gives you a personal performance snapshot:
Strengths & Opportunities
Two cards at the top highlight what you're doing well and where you have room to grow, based on feedback you've received.
Feedback trends
Four metric cards track how you're progressing over time:
- Impact on team objectives — How your work is contributing to team goals.
- Progress on your action plan — How you're tracking against your personal development items.
- Skills — Trends in your role-specific technical skills.
- Competencies — Trends in company-wide soft skills and leadership behaviors.
Feedback frequency
Three counters show your recent feedback activity:
- Feedback received — How much feedback others have given you.
- Feedback given — How much feedback you've provided to others.
- Self-reflections — How many self-reflections you've completed.
If your trend charts are empty, that's normal — they populate once you start receiving feedback through Slack. Head to the Feedback Hub to see your feedback network.
As a manager, you see everything an employee sees for your own profile, plus visibility into your direct reports:
Your personal snapshot
The same Strengths & Opportunities cards, Feedback trends, and Feedback frequency counters as the employee view — but for your own performance.
Team visibility
Use the "Yourself" dropdown in the top bar to switch your view to any of your direct reports. This lets you see their dashboard as they see it — their strengths, trends, and feedback activity — so you can prepare for 1:1s or spot coaching opportunities.
Before a check-in, switch to your direct report's view to review their feedback trends and strengths/opportunities. Then head to 1 on 1 to add agenda items based on what you see.
As an admin, you see the standard dashboard plus the Company Setup banner (if setup is still in progress).
Company Setup wizard
The setup banner tracks 5 configuration steps that need to be completed before Branco is fully operational:
- Mission — Set your company's mission statement.
- OKR — Configure team objectives and key results.
- Values — Define company values and associated competencies.
- Skills — Set up job functions, roles, and role-specific skills.
- Slack & IT — Connect the Branco Slack bot and any HRIS integrations.
Click "Continue Setup" to jump to the next incomplete step. The banner disappears once all 5 steps are finished.
Each wizard step links to the corresponding section in Company Settings. You can also configure these directly from the admin sidebar at any time.
Your personal snapshot
Below the setup banner, you see the same Strengths & Opportunities, Feedback trends, and Feedback frequency sections as any other user.
